The new season promises even more excitement!
On 12 January 2019, the second race of the 5th Formula E season takes place. ITK is, for the third time in a row, a partner of the Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler Team who, with Lucas di Grassi, won the driver title in 2017 and the team title in 2018. Also this year the team is one of the favorites.
The formula E promises even more excitement.
The amended regulations pose new challenges for drivers and engineers. With the new ‘attack mode’ drivers can increase their performance from 200kW to 225kW during the race. A huge advantage as overhauling on the track has become even more important due to the omission of the pit stop this season. In addition, the change from turn-based to time-based races requires a completely new energy strategy both for the drivers and the software development of the vehicles. We look forward to the races in 2019!
