ITK Engineering honors 42 young talents with the ITK Student Award.

The spirit of innovation, passion, dedication: For the fifth time ITK Engineering has honored students for their exceptional graduation and project work. 42 students from 24 universities received the ITK Student Award in 2017. Surrounded by exciting presentations and an exclusive driver training at the Audi driving experience center in Neuburg on the Danube, students were able to swap notes with the experienced engineers from ITK. With this prize, the high-tech company recognizes the contributions achieved by universities and students for current technological developments.

“With heart and soul, changes in perspective, struggle – the efforts of the individual should pay off. We don’t want to express our values only to our existing employees, but rather to each who is working to shape the innovation of tomorrow – the students. The formidable contributions, which universities and students achieve for current technological developments, are what we reward with the ITK Student Award. In the context of the prize, we give young talents the chance to network with other students at ITK as well as with our experienced engineers”, states Michael Englert, founder and chairman of ITK Engineering.

This year, next to interesting presentations from ITK employees, an exciting “Meet & Greet” with the former racer Frank Biela awaited the winners of the Student Award. In an exclusive driver training session, they could test the off-road course, the crash simulator, the wet dynamic track and the handling course of the Audi driving experience center. As a special surprise, three students had the opportunity to experience what it feels like to be the passenger of a racer while traversing the test race track.
