The aim of the Olgäle-Foundation, which exists since 1997, is to help sick children and their parents.

Suitable atmosphere for children in hospitals

The Foundation mostly focuses on helping sick children as well as their parents at the Olgahospital in Stuttgart. An environment, which is suitable for children, the psychosocial care and financing modern medical equipment are the most important goals.

The primary goal of Lebenshilfe is to provide individual and differentiated help for disabled people.

The primary goal of Lebenshilfe is to provide individual and differentiated help for disabled people. As a non-profit organization the association makes an effort for the integration, love of life and self-determination of kids, adults and elderly with disabilities.

Adventurecare e.V.

Here is where adventurecare e.V. starts, when they invite the families to join lovingly supervised camps, which last a couple of days.

Adventurecare was founded in order to support families, where one parent is suffering from cancer. The very heart of the organization is with the kids, which are also suffering from the dramatically changes in their families. Parents and their children are invited to join lovingly supervised camps, which last a couple of days.

Elternverein für Frühgeborene Gießen e.V.

The association was founded in 1993 and counts more than 200 parents, who support each other with words and deeds.

Self-help and personal commitment for families with premature babies and sick newborns are the highest maxim for the parents’ organization. The association was founded in 1993 and counts more than 200 parents, who support each other with words and deeds.





20th anniversary of ITK - 100.000 Euro for a good cause

We have a deep interest in social responsibility. True to our motto “Partnership creates perspectives”, we also wish to offer those around us perspectives for a better life. For this reason, since the company´s foundation we have supported numerous projects aimed at helping distressed people, people in need of care and young people. Our theme in 2014 is “20th anniversary of ITK - 100.000 Euro for a good cause”. On the occasion of our 20th year anniversary we realize 20 donation projects together with our employees. Each donation project is worth 5,000 €.

Equine therapy “Reitherhof Kinderhilfe”

The first donation of the campaign “ITK moves people” was given to the Reiterhof Kinderhilfe e.V. – an institution, which supports physically disabled children by equine therapy. Due to the donation of ITK the association was able to buy “Linus”, a new, special trained therapy horse.

Julie-Pfeiffer-Gruppe

The second of twenty donations was handed over to the Julie-Pfeiffer-Gruppe in Stuttgart. The institution is a point of contact for mothers and their children being in need. The young people that are supported are often traumatized and should be helped by raising up their kids in a warm and caring way.

Our third donation was given to the Foundation Pfennigparade.

Our third donation was given to the Foundation Pfennigparade. The conductive support center Phoenix is point of contact for people with and without disabilities to live, learn and work together. The foundation supports children and young people within their social, emotional and physical development.

It was a moving moment when our colleagues handed over the fourth of our 20 donations of 5.000 € to the Sterntaler Hospice for Children in Dudenhofen.

Our colleagues have been very moved  by the caring nature of the employees and how well they tend to the needs of the residents and the resident's family members.

The club enables children, who are suffering from aids, to take part in school lessons via a video conference system.

The team at Horizont e.V., from Munich, had a very unique idea:  have the kids, as part of an art therapy program, create and draw their own cartoons.

The team at Horizont e.V. had a very unique idea:  have the kids, as part of an art therapy program, create and draw their own cartoons. ITK, as a company, donated 5.000 Euros to support this project and two of our own employees built an editing station for the budding animators to fine-tune their creations.

Our colleagues from the offices in Stuttgart visited the organization and learned how young offenders are being prepared for an independent life, back in freedom, and given the tools needed to keep them from committing other crimes.

Independent painting

ITK supports a project of the University of Augsburg, where students of the study course mechatronics developed a construction that enables severely handicapped kids to paint a canvas independently. The MALOMAT was handed over to the Fritz-Felsenstein-Haus in Königsbrunn.
